| Robin Hood Not So Good |

After watching this film, I am glad that I grew up when film-makers respected history. To me, Errol Flynn still holds the top of the hill for playing Robin Hood. The current version lacks the energy, storyline and excitement needed to make it a hit.

This is a dark movie that doesn't tell the story of Robin, Earl of Locksley aka Robin Hood a Saxon Lord. It produces a conglomeration of out of sync, non-legendary side stories that had nothing to do with the original versions. Robin is not helping to restore Richard to the throne, nor stealing from the rich to help the poor. Marian is not a ward of Prince John who falls for Robin. The Sheriff of Nottingham has a minor role here when in all other versions, he is the arch-enemy.
Overall, I thought the movie was a STINKER!
